Vegan Society
Why do people say: ''Vegans value animal life over human life''?
I don't think animals are more important than humans at all.
For example - If I had to donate £100 to a charity, I would MUCH rather give that money to Cancer Research than the Vegan Society (yes, it's a charity).
Vegans care about human welfare too!
)
What's with all the thumbs down?!
For a couple of reasons:
They are stereotyping.
They are attempting to create conflict.
They are ignorant of the spirit of Veganism.
Don't get me wrong. There are several vegans that post here in VV that certainly put animal welfare ahead of human welfare. I think those people have never had to make a decision which required them to choose an animal over a human.
